With 3000 hectars, the Alliance Minervois vineyard offers a wide variety of terroirs which makes up the richness of the AOP (protected origin appellation ) Minervois and Minervois Cru la Livinière.
Our vines are also planted on the soils of the IGP (Protected Geographic Indicators, previously Vin de Pays) Cité de Carcassonne, Côteaux de Peyriac, Côtes du Brian, Oc, Aude and Hérault.
The most common types of soils are limestone, limestone-clay and shale. Subjected to mediterranean and oceanic influences, the climate is temperate. The high winds shape the wild landscapes of Minervois. Our wines are characterized by a good balance between maturity and freshness, which results in an excellent longevity.
